INSTRUCTORS - Wilf - Glasgow Karate

My name is William (Wilf) Divens and I have trained in Shotokai karate for almost twenty years.
I have risen up through the Kyu and Dan grades to the rank of 3rd Dan under Head Coach Stephen McGlinchey.
I am a senior instructor teaching both adults and children to black belt level.
I am married to Steph and have two children, Molly and Ben.
I am a car mechanic to trade and I am currently working for a major Scottish motor retailer.
My hobbies include pike fishing with pike to over 30lbs, I am also a member of PAAS (Pike Anglers Alliance for Scotland http://www.esoxecosse.com) and have been for 10 years now though I can't get out fishing as much as I would like to due to family commitments and diy.

Whats your favourite part of training?
My favourite aspect of training is teaching the kids and watching them progress through the grades.
Favourite Kata?
Favourite kata is Heian Shodan and a close second is Bassai Sho.
I like the  body movements and changes of direction in these katas.
Have your trained in other arts?
I have in the past trained in kali and panantukan and also muay thai.
